There has been a lot of talk lately about taking your business seriously.

I believe that most dentists do in fact take their business very seriously.

Why wouldn’t you?

You spend a lot of time and effort working on and in your business. And you do want it to do well.

The problem is dentists only know what they know, like most of us. And this is how we all run our businesses, on what we know.

Of course as we investigate better ways to run our businesses we then learn more and often start running our businesses better.

The knowing more and doing better is what is needed over the lifetime of our business.

But if we take it one step further then we really do do better.

This is often missing from many Dental businesses.

The next step, the missing step, is empowering your team to know more and do better for your business as well as do better for you.

There is no point just you knowing more and doing better. Your team must join you.

Your business is you and your team working together.

The reason I know this for sure is because I see the amazing difference when teams are trained to know more and do better.

Without training you get stuck in your business and things start to go bad.

You can even get left behind and can’t catch up.

I see so many Dentists going crazy for extra clinical knowledge and expertise to bring back to their practice but the rest of the team just stay the same.

The team doesn’t get better and worst of all their level of skill does not match where the highly skilled dentist wants to take their business.

Have a close look at the last time your team was trained to update and improve their skills.

The average Dental Office has not provided their team with any type of training for more than three years!

Start training your team in 2017. They will know more and your Dental Office will do so much better.

The only thing you have to lose is getting better!
