Which One Should You Do First?

There has been a lot of talk lately about the value of training teams to answer the phone when the phone in your office is not ringing.

The good news is your phone is ringing but probably not as much as you would like.

The amount of marketing you do right now is directing the public to your website and social media pages and bringing in calls.

The question is how many calls are coming in, and is it enough to generate the income you need to run your business, and is it giving you the number of patients you need to match the way your practice is set up.

I cannot see the point of jumping straight into marketing to make your phone ring more if the calls are not being converted as best as they can be into appointments.

When I see this happening in so many practices, it is as if they are throwing money away!

Start with the phone and work your way back.

If your team is not effectively answering the small amount of calls coming into your practice, then why would you think this would change if there were a large number of calls coming in?

Improve your team’s phone skills with training and start to measure their performance based on the small number of calls you have now.

Working with a smaller number of calls will still give you improved and achievable results and will make a big difference. then you can increase the calls.

Once your team are more trained on how better to answer calls and make more appointments they will be ready for a larger volume of calls and make a higher number of quality appointments.

There are so many parts of the dental office we invest in and I see so many practices just waste their time and money focusing on the wrong things first.

A fully trained team is the best investment by far. then start adding from there.

Having a fully prepared team who are ready for the phone to ring hot just makes so much more sense.
